These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of QueryAstra's website, authentication system, and software ("Service"), operated by QueryAstra ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

QueryAstra is an on-premise database performance monitoring tool. The software is downloaded and installed on your own infrastructure. Our website provides account management, software licensing, and download access. We do not host, access, or process any data from your databases.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using your email address or a supported social login provider (Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or LinkedIn). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. License

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use QueryAstra on your own servers for your internal business purposes.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• Use the software to build a competing product.
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices.

4. Waitlist

By submitting your email on our website, you consent to receive one notification email when QueryAstra becomes available. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Transmit any malicious code or harmful data.

6. Intellectual Property

QueryAstra and its logos, trademarks, and all software are the property of QueryAstra and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks or branding.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QueryAstra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your license to use the software ends and you must cease all use.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
